Corporate climate action
Science Based Targets initiative
Safety21 has joined the Science Based Targets initiative, obtaining the approval of short-term SBTi targets for reducing its emissions aimed at containing global warming by 1,5°C, joining the more than 5000 leading global companies in the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Target 2031
Safety21 commits to reduce by 2030, by 42%, the CO2 emissions directly or indirectly produced by society (Scope1 and Scope2) compared to 2021 levels and to measure and reduce indirect emissions from upstream and downstream activities of the organisation (Scope 3).
SBTi
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global body that enables companies to set important emission reduction targets consistent with climate science. The goal is to support companies around the world to halve their emissions by 2030 and reach net zero emissions by 2050.

Preserving the planet for a better future
In 2024, we created the S21 forest in collaboration with Treedom, planting 100 trees in different countries around the world. This initiative represents a tangible contribution to environmental sustainability, an issue we are actively engaged in through the reduction of emissions in Scope 1, 2 and 3. Our trees will help absorb 21,00089 tonnes of CO2, reinforcing our commitment to a more sustainable future.
