Safety21 acquires a majority stake in Capacitas

Safety21 S.p.A., owned by the private equity fund BU (Bregal Unternehmerkapital) Funds (“BU”), has finalized the majority stake equal to 86% of the capital of Capacitas Srl, a strategic player in the production of software for the verification of violations against Italian Land Reclamation Consortia.
The transaction strengthens the Safety21 Group’s leadership in the market for technological assessment and collection services for reclamation consortia, expanding the market share achieved with the acquisition of the Ge.Fil Group and its subsidiary El-Fo.
Through the acquisition of Capacitas, the Safety21 Group is positioned as a reference technological and operational partner on the national market of Consortia, extending the innovative and integration potential of the proprietary Titan platform that allows the Group to provide Authorities and the Public Administration with innovative services for the digitization of assessment processes and for services to citizens.
