A Safety21 anuncia a nomeação de Paolo Tommasini como Diretor Executivo da Safety21 Iberica, uma empresa criada com o objetivo de reforçar a presença do Grupo Safety21 na Península Ibérica e promover o desenvolvimento estratégico nos mercados espanhol e português.

A nomeação é mais um passo no caminho da consolidação e crescimento internacional do Grupo Safety21, que continua o seu plano de expansão europeia com foco em territórios de elevado potencial em termos de inovação urbana, digitalização dos serviços públicos e desenvolvimento de modelos avançados de segurança rodoviária.

Neste contexto, a Safety21 Ibérica terá a tarefa de orientar e coordenar políticas de desenvolvimento comercial na área ibérica, reforçar a presença do Grupo nos setores de Cidades Inteligentes e Segurança Rodoviária, promover as suas próprias soluções tecnológicas e modelos integrados para apoiar as Administrações Públicas.

A Safety21, que sempre esteve na vanguarda da segurança rodoviária, apoia diariamente as autoridades locais nos desafios relacionados com a gestão e prevenção da mobilidade, graças a ferramentas altamente inovadoras e a uma abordagem que integra competências tecnológicas, operacionais e de consultoria. Um modelo que, através da Safety21 Ibérica, pode também ser melhorado em Espanha e Portugal, contribuindo para a criação de sistemas de controlo mais avançados, sustentáveis e orientados para o cidadão.

O objetivo é estruturar uma presença industrial e comercial estável na Península Ibérica, capaz de potenciar as competências tecnológicas do Grupo, desenvolver alianças locais qualificadas e contribuir concretamente para os processos de digitalização e inovação das instituições locais. A nova estrutura irá também reforçar a capacidade do Grupo de responder às necessidades específicas dos mercados locais, promovendo soluções integradas e escaláveis para a modernização das infraestruturas e dos serviços públicos.

A nova governação da Safety21 Iberica faz parte de uma estratégia de crescimento internacional mais ampla, destinada a criar valor sustentável, desenvolver novas oportunidades de negócio e consolidar a posição do Grupo nos principais mercados europeus, em linha com uma visão industrial a longo prazo.

Na sala de aula, esta manhã, 10 de dezembro de 2025, no primeiro dia do ano letivo, 150 alunos do instituto profissional Carlo Porta em Milão.

Esta manhã, no Instituto Profissional Estadual Carlo Porta para Serviços de Alimentação e Vinho e Hotelaria, foi realizado pela Cidade Metropolitana de Milão o curso de formação “Mi voglio sicu ǝ” para alunos do quarto e quinto ano do ensino secundário, com o objetivo de sensibilizar os jovens para uma nova cultura de mobilidade: mais segura, mais consciente e responsável.

O programa de formação faz parte do Projeto de Segurança Metropolitana de Milão, realizado pela Safety21 em colaboração com a Cidade Metropolitana de Milão, para a redução de acidentes e a concretização do objetivo estratégico europeu “2050 Zero vítimas nas estradas” e é organizado com a contribuição da Associação Lorenzo Guarnieri Onlus, que há mais de 10 anos está na vanguarda da prevenção da violência rodoviária e com o apoio de formadores especializados,  psicólogos e Polícia Local. Um formato bem testado, este ano na sua terceira edição, que se baseia numa abordagem de formação interativa, que procura o confronto com os jovens. Existem várias vozes na área, o único objetivo: educar os futuros automobilistas sobre a importância de respeitar as regras e desenvolver e cultivar um sentimento cívico em relação à segurança rodoviária.

Durante a manhã, alternavam reflexões, testes e testemunhos, para se focar no valor das regras do código rodoviário e, acima de tudo, nos riscos associados às distrações, nos efeitos da alteração por álcool e drogas no trânsito rodoviário. A reunião contou com a intervenção institucional de Daniela Caputo, Conselheira Delegada para Infraestruturas e Metroelétricos da Cidade Metropolitana de Milão, bem como contribuições (de Giulia Tincani, formadora da La Fabbrica) / da formadora da La Fabbrica, que abordou questões como o papel da estrada nas nossas vidas e a perceção do risco.

Os alunos também receberam elementos práticos de segurança rodoviária pelo Comandante da Polícia Local da Cidade Metropolitana de Milão, Pieralessandro Scotti, que ilustrou as principais regras de segurança e os riscos associados à distração e aos efeitos da alteração do álcool e das drogas no trânsito rodoviário.

Para terminar, o foco mudou para o tema da linguagem e da comunicação, destacando a importância de uma abordagem consciente e eficaz na transmissão de mensagens.

Segundo Daniela Caputo, vereadora delegada à Infraestrutura e Metroelétricos da Cidade Metropolitana: “As fatalidades rodoviárias são uma perda inaceitável para toda a sociedade. Trabalhar para aumentar a segurança rodoviária é uma das nossas prioridades, um objetivo que estamos a tentar alcançar

também através da consciencialização das gerações mais jovens. Conheci milhares de estudantes ao longo dos anos e sempre encontrei grande interesse e participação ativa nestas questões importantes. Tornar a viagem pelas estradas mais segura é possível, mas precisamos de uma aliança ampla que veja o protagonismo de todos os intervenientes envolvidos”.

“A educação dos jovens é a ferramenta mais eficaz e concreta que temos para tentar tornar um sistema de mobilidade rodoviária mais seguro, que, em Itália, tem oito vítimas por ano” – disse Stefano Guarnieri, fundador da Associação Lorenzo Guarnieri- “O nosso compromisso e esperança é que este curso possa realmente contribuir para o desenvolvimento de uma cultura sólida de segurança em rapazes e raparigas: um património de consciência e respeito que, esperamos, não só será útil quando estiverem na estrada, mas que os acompanhe em todas as escolhas das suas vidas”.

Além disso, para o ano letivo atual, o programa educativo plurianual “Mi voglio sicurǝ” proporciona, além do evento presencial de formação, a possibilidade para os jovens ingressarem num curso PCTO (Caminho para Competências Transversales e Orientação) que concederá aos alunos 30 horas de créditos de formação, aprofundando temas-chave como as ligações entre veículos e infraestruturas.  perceção do risco e ações preventivas para reduzir os perigos nas estradas. Já existem 18 escolas na região que aderiram à continuação do curso online.

Um futuro sem fatalidades nas estradas é possível. “Mi voglio sicurǝ” representa um passo concreto em direção a este objetivo, promovendo entre os jovens uma cultura de responsabilidade e respeito pelas regras, valores fundamentais para uma mobilidade mais segura e sustentável.

Uma nova aliança pela segurança rodoviária e ambiental apresentada na Embaixada da Itália em Lisboa

Lisboa, 20 de outubro de 2025 – Na Embaixada da Itália em Lisboa realizou-se um encontro dedicado à apresentação da parceria entre a Safety21, empresa italiana líder em serviços tecnológicos para a segurança rodoviária, e a Eurosistra, referência em Portugal na recuperação de condições de segurança e na proteção ambiental após acidentes.

O evento, realizado num espaço vocacionado para o diálogo institucional e a cooperação internacional, representou um importante momento de reflexão sobre a inovação ao serviço da segurança rodoviária e da sustentabilidade ambiental, marcando o início de uma colaboração estratégica entre duas entidades complementares e fortemente orientadas para o progresso tecnológico.

Esta aliança surge como resposta a um desafio cada vez mais urgente a nível europeu: a redução da sinistralidade rodoviária, em conformidade com a diretiva Vision Zero da União Europeia, que visa eliminar vítimas e feridos graves até 2050, com a meta intermédia de os reduzir para metade até 2030.

Em Portugal, o tema ganha especial relevância: em 2023 registaram-se 60,8 mortes por milhão de habitantes, um valor superior à média da UE (45,6). Só em 2024, mais de 134.000 acidentes, dos quais 36.789 com vítimas, evidenciaram a necessidade de ações direcionadas de prevenção, monitorização e gestão do risco.

Através desta colaboração, a Safety21 disponibiliza a sua experiência de 15 anos e as suas soluções digitais baseadas em inteligência artificial, capazes de analisar em tempo real os dados de tráfego, identificar pontos de risco e atuar de forma preditiva para prevenir acidentes.

O encontro terminou com a convicção partilhada de que apenas através da tecnologia, cooperação e responsabilidade ambiental será possível construir um modelo de segurança mais eficiente, resiliente e sustentável para as cidades do futuro.

On Saturday 28 June, the Belvedere Resentello will be the setting for the “Junior Bikers – Dream Experience”, an event designed to bring children and young people aged 6 to 12 closer to the culture of road safety. The initiative, promoted as part of the “I Love You – Safe Ventimiglia” project by SPV21 Ventimiglia in collaboration with the City of Ventimiglia, offers an educational, playful and inclusive afternoon, capable of combining learning and fun.

Through direct experiences and moments of structured play, the young participants will have the opportunity to discover the importance of the rules of the road, internalizing them in a spontaneous and engaging way. The planned activities, supervised by expert operators, include routes on electric minibikes, sessions dedicated to the knowledge of road rules and first aid demonstrations by the White Cross of Imperia. A valuable opportunity to learn, but also to develop greater awareness of the correct behaviors to adopt as pedestrians, cyclists or future drivers.

The event will also offer the opportunity to support the 2Nove9 association, committed to supporting the victims of road accidents, thanks to the patronage of the Ventimiglia Lions Club and the official Sanremo Lions Clubs of Italy. The contribution of numerous local partners, including the MBS Sanremo Moto Club – promoter of the #GuidoBeneGuidoSicuro training project – Ducati, Croce Bianca Imperia and the Lions Clubs was fundamental to the realization of the initiative.

The “Junior Bikers – Dream Experience” thus represents an event with a strong educational and civic value, designed to convey to the new generations the value of responsibility and safety, from the earliest years of life.

From 12 to 14 May 2025, Safety21 together with ITE took part in the Feria Internacional de Defensa y Seguridad de España (FEINDEF), a reference event for innovation in the security and defence sectors, held in Madrid.

During the event, some of the most advanced technological solutions developed to support public authorities were presented, including:

1. G.U.A.R.D.I.U.M., with its specific functions for the Local Police;
2. iCAM3D, both in portable and vehicular versions;
3. The new release of EVO2, the advanced speed control radar, designed to operate in complex and traffic-intensive environments.

Participation in FEINDEF represented an important opportunity for discussion and dialogue with numerous institutional actors, including Guardia Civil and Ertzaintza, who visited our stand to learn more about the applications of the proposed technologies

Its presence at the fair confirmed Safety21’s role as a reliable and innovative interlocutor on the international scene, reaffirming its commitment to promoting safer, smarter and more sustainable mobility, even beyond Italy’s borders.

In an urban context increasingly demanding in terms of safety, innovation, and responsiveness, technology proves to be an indispensable ally for Police Forces.
It is in this direction that the recent testing day promoted by Safety21 S.p.A. took place, together with its Premium Partner ITE – Integración Tecnológica Empresarial, S.L., and with the direct involvement of the Policía Municipal de Madrid.

During the demonstration event, two of Safety21’s most advanced solutions were successfully tested:

iCAM3D: A compact and highly innovative device, iCAM3D was installed on board an official Police vehicle, where it demonstrated its ability to automatically detect violations using artificial intelligence algorithms—even in the absence of network or connectivity. This ensures continuous and reliable operation in any urban setting.

G.U.A.R.D.I.U.M.: The G.U.A.R.D.I.U.M. solution stood out for its high level of accuracy, portability, and execution speed in the three-dimensional reconstruction of road accidents and forensic scenes. Ideal for immediate intervention by patrol units, it drastically reduces road closure times and enhances the efficiency of both technical and documentary response.

The testing day is part of a broader development plan in which Safety21 and ITE are engaged in promoting smart road safety solutions across the Spanish and Portuguese markets. A strategic partnership based on the sharing of know-how, cutting-edge technologies, and a common vision, which translates into an integrated offering for local public administrations.

The operational and technical contribution of a highly qualified team – Fernando Flores Moya, Paolo Tommasini, Silvio Foschi, and José Antonio Hortal Carretero – confirmed the effectiveness of the collaborative model between the two companies and paved the way for future implementations at urban and regional levels.

On 26 and 27 March, part of the Safety21 team met for two intense days of Team Building in the name of sharing and growth. The theme of the meeting, “One Team, One Vision”, represented the common thread of an experience designed to strengthen the synergy between colleagues, through moments of discussion, inspiration and co-creation.

The team took part in a unique training experience: a session of Lego® Serious Play®, an innovative method designed to stimulate creative thinking and facilitate discussion within working groups. Led by Carlo Spellucci, Master trainer of Lego® Serious Play® and his team of expert trainers, , the participants were involved in an immersive activity where LEGO bricks became tools to express ideas, values and visions related to trust, mutual support and collaboration.

Through the construction of symbolic models, each member was able to represent his or her own perception of the company system, sharing personal and professional reflections in an atmosphere of active listening and participation. An experience that strengthened the sense of team and ignited new ideas to face daily challenges together.

In closing, the intervention of Diego Parassole, who with intelligence and irony offered concrete ideas to face change with awareness and a constructive spirit.

The second edition of the road safety training project dedicated to secondary schools in the Metropolitan City of Milan, as part of the Milan Metropolitan Safety Project, started this morning at the IPS B. Cavalieri – D. Marignoni Mi Voglio Sicur3 Institute

The project, carried out in collaboration with Safety21 and the Metropolitan City of Milan and with the advice of the Lorenzo Guarnieri Onlus Association, aims to raise awareness among young people about more responsible driving and make them aware of the importance of adopting safe behaviour on the road for themselves and for others.

The meeting opened with greetings from the School Principal Prof. Giovanni A. Maliandi and saw the institutional interventions of the Councilor delegated to Infrastructure and Metrotramways of the Metropolitan City of Milan Daniela Caputo and the Director of the Infrastructure Area of the Metropolitan City of Milan Alessandra Tadini.

During the morning, the classes (fourth and fifth sections) carried out interactive activities, learning the fundamentals of safer, more sustainable and respectful mobility.

Among the topics covered during the morning were “The role of the road in our lives and the perception of risk” with the intervention of Stefano Guarnieri – Founder of the Lorenzo Guarnieri Association and “Practical elements of road safety” provided by the Commander of the Local Police of the Metropolitan City of Milan Pieralessandro Scotti. At the end of the meeting, language and communication were discussed, emphasizing the importance of a conscious and effective approach in transmitting messages.

About 2,000 students from the Metropolitan City of Milan will be involved in the “Mi voglio Sicurǝ” project by June, the course, which through interactive quizzes, reflections and testimonies, will allow participants to create awareness and shared responsibility by highlighting the importance and value of compliance with the rules of the Highway Code of the Highway Code of the dangers given by distractions,  alcohol and drug intake on the road.

New this year: the PCTO, a Pathway for Transversal Skills and Orientation, for training, which will issue students with 30 hours of training credits, with a focus on key topics such as the links between vehicles and infrastructure, risk perception and preventive actions to reduce dangers on the roads.

Students who complete the entire training course will be able to obtain 15 additional training credits through a project work, a social communication campaign on road safety, in which students will take on the role of Ambassadors of a responsible and aware road culture. At the end of the teamwork, a jury of industry experts will select the three best projects. The winners will be awarded during an official event in the presence of the Institutions.

After the meeting at the IPS B. Cavalieri – D. Marignoni Institute, the “Mi voglio Sicurǝ” project will continue the training course also involving students in the third, fourth and fifth year of other secondary schools such as: the Marconi and Argentia Industrial Technical Institute in Gorgonzola, the Galilei High School in Legnano, the ISS Cattaneo and the ITS Pasolini in Milan.
